Salt Spa Etiquette
On Your First Visit
- You must arrive 20 minutes early for your FIRST Salt Therapy appointment, you will be asked to fill out client forms, be introduce to our spa dress and will participate in a brief Salt Therapy orientation.
- For subsequent visits arrive early enough to dress and use the restroom before your scheduled sessions. Salt Sessions begin promptly at the top of the hour and the children’s room begins promptly half past the hour. Once a session begins no one will be allowed to enter the salt spa.
- You are responsible for your personal items. We suggest you leave all personal items and electronic devices, including cell phones and purses in your car as we will not be responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items.
- Dress in simple, comfortable clothing and feel free to bring a light blanket if would like to cover dark clothing. (any salt visible on clothing will dust off)
Spa Usage
- Use of the spa should be avoided during the acute or contagious phase of any illness, including the following: colds, flu, infections accompanied by fever, acute active tuberculosis, cardiac insufficiency, COPD in the third stage, bleeding, spitting of blood, alcohol or drug intoxication, unstable or uncontrolled hypertension, and acute stages of respiratory diseases.
- The spa is for non-smokers only. Smokers will only be permitted in the salt spa after they have quit smoking for at least two weeks to avoid exposing other clients to third hand smoke.
- Foot and head covers will be provided and must be worn in the salt spa. Please keep these coverings and bring to each visit in the salt spa.
- For your comfort and convenience you are allowed to bring one book (no magazines with perfumed ads), facial tissues, an eye pillow, ear plugs, a small head pillow, a light blanket if would like to cover dark clothing. (any salt visible on clothing will dust off) Reading lights will be provided upon request. No other items are allowed in the spa. If you have a personal need that is not on this list please speak to a member of our Salt Spa Teeam.
In Consideration to Others
- Unless there is an emergency, as a courtesy to others please do not leave the salt spa while a session is in progress.
- Please keep voices low in the entrance hallway and the salt spa.
- Do not use any perfumes, lotions, or substances that produce a fragrance when you come for a treatment.
Additional Etiquette for the Children’s Salt Spa
- Children 12 and under must have an adult guardian present at all times while in the salt spa.
- Use inside voices.
- Play with the salt, but please do not throw it.
- Please clean up toys/books at the end of your session.
