WILL FOSTER
Will Foster is a licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Tennessee and a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in the state of New Mexico.
He graduated with honors as a Master of Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1996 and went on to become a faculty member.
He has done extensive continuing education in TCM and emphasizes The Balance Method of Dr. Richard Tan in his practice.
He is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Will Foster has been studying Ayurveda for over 20 years and actively treating people for over 10 years.
In 1991, he received certification from Dr. Vasant Lad’s Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He was a faculty member at the Ayurvedic Institute for many years, teaching Sanskrit language and Ayurveda, as well as working in the herbal pharmacy.
He continues to study under the tutelage of his longtime mentor Swami Chandrashekharananda Saraswati, an adept yoga practitioner and traditional Ayurvedic physician who divides his time between his native land of India and Knoxville, TN.
Will Foster received certification from the Hari Society
(under instruction of Sensei Koei Kuwahara) in 2000 as
well as from the Seattle branch of the Toyohari Association
(Japan) in 2001.
Will Foster has been studying nutrition since 1998
and is presently working toward licensure in clinical nutrition.
He has studied with Robert Crayhon, M.S. since
1999 and in 2000 completed Robert’s Advanced Training
in Clinical Nutrition.
Will Foster currently resides in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife and baby daughter.
